After having failed to have the Noreika Monument removed for reasons of morality and human dignity, we tried to pursue a legal strategy where we showed that the monument had been installed without City permits and was required to be brought in line with city ordinances.
The minutiae of that case makes it hopeless.
The next case we filed (below) on December 9, 2016 is against the National Heritage Department. Noreika’s monument stands on a national heritage site, violating multiple regulations. The Heritage Department will now have to pursue the City to have it removed.
The Action is attached, once I have it in English, I will post that too.
